Wagonning with Big E

Rylan loves to be outside.  She's not as crazy about the swing as Reese was... I think she'll be hanging out with Tucker and Chris while Reese and I go on the roller coasters.  But she loves riding in the wagon.  I love it that she has two cousins about the same age... she doesn't have to tag along with the bigs all the time. She and Easton had a play date at Grandma's...

That boy needs a seat belt... think he might be a daredevil like Tucker!

Grandma kisses make everything all better... even when you have to get out of the wagon.

Dirt Bike Danger

Tucker has been watching his cousin Caden ride his dirt bike for months now and talking about how he can't wait to ride it when he gets bigger.  You can imagine his excitement when we went to stay with Chris' cousin Lisa's family and their 5 year old son had one just the right size.  He was so sweet to let Tucker have a turn or two or three...

He got decked out in all the gear...

Got a mini-lesson from Cousin Eric...

And took off...

He followed Owen around all weekend... the had a blast playing together.  And now Tucker has a new birthday wish list!

Beauty & The Beast

Like most little girls, Reese wants to be a princess.  You can imagine her excitement when Grandma invited her to see Beauty & The Beast (in 3D I might add).  I wasn't sure how her first movie theatre experience was going to be so I was relieved when the movie started and we were the only people in the entire theatre.

She was on the edge of her seat when the previews started and was literally laughing out loud at every little silly thing that happened.

Wow... this picture makes me laugh out loud.

You watch movies through a whole different lens once you have kids.  I didn't remember Beauty and the Beast being so scary.  I was really surprised that Reese didn't get scared.  I guess she was just mesmerized with Belle and her 3D glasses.

She ate way too much popcorn and candy and had a complete blast at her first movie.

Christmas with the Cousins

It was a little bit like a daycare at Christmas this year.  SEVEN kids under the age of 5 makes for completely exhausted grown ups! The kids had a blast playing with their cousins though.
They all piled in the 3 jeeps that Santa brought to Grammy and Grandpa's house.  They drove around for hours and I have to admit that I was totally surprised that there wasn't any fighting.

Granbury decorates the park with thousands of lights so we let the kids run off some energy

Then we were off to Grapevine to ride the real train down to the Stockyards...

Lots of love, laughs and complete exhaustion.  Trying to get 5 toddlers to sleep in the same room can be quite a challenge.  Bless Grammy for giving up her sleep and staying with all the kiddos!

5 Little Monkeys

With Grammy and Grandpa moving to Granbury, we had to enjoy one last fun weekend in their infamous backyard.  Lots of swinging, swimming, bubble-blowing and bouncing happened in this backyard.  Love to see all the cousins playing together...

 Lots of laughing too...

Simon Says is pretty much the only way to get all five of them to do the same thing at the same time.

I love how they pick up right where they left off each time they see each other.  It doesn't matter how many weeks its been... they act like it was just yesterday. LOVE that!

Soccer Stars

The last time we were in Houston we got to go see Kaylie and Drew play soccer.  I've decided that we're totally torturing Tucker by taking him to baseball and soccer games because he's DYING to play.  We're not going to make it through the year without signing him up for something.

It was fun that the whole gang could be there to cheer them on...

All Reese and Emmy needed were some pom poms.
Being silly with Grandpa.

After a little pep talk from Dad and a push or two from Kaylie.  Drew was fired up and ready to go.

They were both beaming... so proud of themselves!

Put me in Coach! I'm ready to play!

The only way to keep Tucker off the field...

I think our weekends are about to get really busy.

Roasting Smellows

Grandma's are the best.  And Reese, Tucker and Rylan have literally the best Grandmas in the world!  They do crafts with them, take them for walks, host Cousin Camp, let them stay up late, play games with them, make them things, surprise them with treats on holidays and sometimes for no reason at all, and... the list goes on and on.

They are so blessed to have Grandmas close by that they can grow up knowing so well.  Grandmas just make everything more fun.

This plain ol' Friday night turned into a smellow roastin' blast....

Reese looks like an 80's punk rocker with her rooster tail hairdo. love it.

Some of the smellows weren't edible as you can imagine... but they sure had fun burning them.
